The Explore pages help you find places and people to play with. Anyone can use them without an account.
Only publicly listed events and communities show up here.
Map and list
Both pages show results on a map or as a list. Use Map View and List View to switch.
The map opens around your region. Pan and zoom to look somewhere else, then select Search this area to load results for the part of the map you are looking at. The button appears when the map has moved away from the loaded results, or when there were more results than fit on the map.
When you switch from the map to the list, the list only shows results inside the area you were looking at.
On your phone, the filters are behind the Filter button. Select Apply Filters to close them.
Explore events
Filter events by:
- Date Range: pick a From and To date, or use Today, Weekend or Upcoming.
- Event Types: the kind of event, such as a game night or a convention.
- Game Plan: events planning to play a specific game.
- Location: a city or address, or Anywhere.
Select Clear All to reset the filters.
When you are signed in, Your Events at the top shows events you are hosting, invited to or have responded to. Switch between List and Calendar, open the Archive for past events, or select Create to host your own. See Events.
Explore communities
Filter communities by:
- Community Types: see Community types. Gaming groups only show up here when their owner has made them listed. See Gaming groups.
- Location: a city or address. On the map, the location follows the area you are looking at.
Select a community to open its page, where you can follow or join it. See Join a community.
Add to the map
Missing an event or a place you love? Help others find it.
- On the events page, select Create your own event or Submit an event.
- On the communities page, select Add. You can add a place you enjoy even if you don’t run it. See Add a place you love.
