# Customize your community

> Build your community's Overview tab from modules: links, a map, upcoming events, collection stats, game picks and your team.

The **Overview** tab is your community's own page. You put it together from modules, placed in a main column or a sidebar.

This page is for [communities](/guides/communities). [Gaming groups](/guides/groups) don't have an Overview tab.

## Turn on the overview

The Overview tab is off for new communities. Open **Manage**, switch on **Overview**, and choose whether **Everyone** or only **Members** can see it.

## Edit the overview

Once the Overview tab is on, owners select **Edit** under the community's image, where other members see **Joined**. While the overview is empty, owners also see a **Start editing** button on the tab itself.

In edit mode you can:

* Select **Add module** in the main column or the sidebar and pick a module.
* Move a module up or down with the arrows.
* Remove a module with the delete button.

Changes are saved as you make them. Select **Done** to leave edit mode.

  Other visitors don't see the Overview tab until it has at least one module.

## Modules

| Module | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Text Block** | A heading with formatted text, such as an introduction or house rules. Free for everyone. |
| **Links** | Up to 5 links to your website, socials and group chats. Instagram, Facebook, Meetup, Discord, WhatsApp, BoardGameGeek, X, Reddit and YouTube links show the site's own icon. |
| **Map** | A map of the location set under **Manage**. |
| **Upcoming Events** | The next events in the community. |
| **Collection Stats** | A simple or detailed view of the community's game library statistics. Needs a game library. |
| **Game Picks** | Up to 6 board games you recommend, each with a short note, under a name of your choice such as Staff Picks. |
| **Team Members** | The people behind the community, each with a title and a short description. Up to 12 people. |

Modules you can't add yet are shown greyed out with the reason, such as a missing game library.
